I am the father of three kids, two of them are at Virginia Tech (go Hokies) and one is still a junior in high school. My wife is a fiery, red-headed Italian—enough said there.

Professionally I have represented a number of companies in the sporting goods industry, including Avia, Saucony, Cliff Keen, Frank Shorter, and Hind, to name a few. I also pioneered brands like Ultra Wheels, Freestyle, Ski-Tote, GU, and InSport. Before joining the staff at Holabird Sports, I managed a small chain of running stores in northern Virginia for two and a half years.

I’ve worked since I was nine years old but I still found time for sports. I played club tennis from the age of seven until high school; now I play when I can. I ran trails beside the James River in college at VCU (go Rams). I don’t run much anymore; instead I do 30-40 minutes of elliptical training a day. For the last 6 years, I’ve been a gym rat from 5-7 A.M. before work.

I love to be outdoors and in-line skate, hike, camp, canoe, beach comb, or just relax on the beach. Believe it or not, I like yard work, planting, and harvesting. When I was in college I hitch-hiked up and down the West Coast and much of the East Coast. During that time I learned that most people were awesome (I was fortunate enough to avoid the creeps). Life is an adventure and I love living it.

I have been lucky enough to watch my oldest son go to two Maryland State High School Lacrosse Finals and my daughter go to two Maryland State High School Soccer Finals (winning one). My youngest son has gone to one Maryland State High School Lacrosse Final and won. There’s no doubt that my kids keep me moving—and when they aren’t, my wife is!
