Upper: P.H.F.™ (Personal Heel Fit) system incorporates two layers of memory foam into the collar that molds to the athlete’s heel, creating a personalized fit. Breathable mesh upper with synthetic overlays that add light support. Padded tongue for maximum comfort.
Midsole: Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.®) design philosophy employs linked componentry that enhances the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. Heel and forefoot GEL cushioning attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. Solyte® midsole material is a lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS’ standard EVA and SpEVA®. SpEVA® midsole material improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown. Guidance Line® vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency. Removable ComforDry™ sockliner provides cushioning performance and anti-microbial properties for a cooler, drier, healthier environment.
22mm heel midsole height, 12mm forefoot midsole height.
Outsole: AHAR® ASICS High Abrasion Rubber is placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability. DuraSponge® outsole uses a blown AHAR® rubber compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot.
Available in width B (Medium).

Q:
Is this a good shoe for flat footed and overpronation runners?Asked on 5/1/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
The ASICS GEL-Cirrus33 is considered a neutral shoe. According to ASICS, the GEL-Cirrus33 will work for mild overpronators, but if your pronation is more severe, you should look for a shoe that has more built-in pronation control.Answered on 5/4/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
