Upper: Flexion Fit™ provides form-fitting comfort without sacrificing support. P.H.F. (Personal Heel Fit) memory foam supplies 2 layers of memory foam in the collar and mold to the athlete’s heel, creating a personalized fit. An exoskeleton Heel Clutching System provides improved support and improves an improved heel fitting environment. Padded air mesh tongue provides increased breathability and comfort.
Midsole: Solyte® Midsole Material is a lighter weight midsole compound that ASICS’ standard EVA and SpEVA®. Also features enhanced cushioning and durability. Trusstic System® reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. SpEVA® Midsole Material improves bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown. Solyte™ 55 last construction provides super lightweight lasting with medium density for a cushioned, but more stable ride. Removable molded EVA insole provides additional cushioning.
Upper: Non-marking rubber outsole with variable traction pattern and forefoot pivot point.AHAR® High Abrasion Rubber placed in key areas of the outsole for increased durability. Impact Guide System (IGS®) employs linked componentry to enhance the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe off.

I try to play a couple times a week and this shoe seems to last longer than other brands I've tried. The shoes were fairly comfortable right out of the box and I was happy that I got a nice savings by buying last year's model.

th ebig difference is that this shoe runs a bit wider and longer than top end Nike and Adidas tennis shoes. That difference is a game cahnger for me.
