GT Technology: Graphite Tungsten Technology is a hybrid material containing braided carbon fibers and tungsten filaments throughout the entire racquet. This customized performance booster improves racquet performance based on the concentration of Tungsten fibers at various strategic parts of the frame. The main benefit is increased power and versatility. A value added aspect of GT technology is that the added concentration of Tungsten in the head of the racquet strengthens the frame (up to 26% more than the previous Pure Drive) to reduce torque and increase precision.

Cortex Active Technology: Thanks to its new construction and CDS (Cortex Dampening System) interface, the latest edition of Babolat’s active Cortex technology ensures seamless transmission of the most essential information directly to the player’s hand for an incomparable feel and a master’s control of each and every hit.

Woofer Technology: The first and most efficient system which makes the frame and strings interact when striking the ball: 25% longer ball/string contact. Better control, more comfort.

Elliptic Geometry: Optimal design to guarantee the best torsion resistance: +20% stiffer compared to a traditional beam. Better maneuverability with more power.

Which string is best? I am a 4.0 player and hit pretty hard

        A:

Strings really come down to personal preference. If you break strings fairly often and like a stiffer string, Babolat has a couple nice polyester strings like Pro Hurricane Tour or RPM Blast. If you are not breaking too many strings or would prefer something softer and more playable, Babolat Addiction or Babolat Xcel are both great choices.

      • A:

Babolat strings are the only type of strings that are recommended for this product so that it will perform optimally. The racket comes with strings when you purchase it and additional strings can be purchased through the website.
