Cross Country. The GEL-Dirt Diva™ 2 is the most versatile women's only racer ASICS® has ever offered. It is designed specifically for female cross country racers, with interchangeable pins designed to allow the shoe to be used on virtually any surface. Rubberized pins are included for courses that contain paved surfaces, along with standard metal spike pins for grass and dirt.
Upper: Lightweight mesh upper is breathable and allows for excellent water release. An integrated lacing system wraps the upper snugly and comfortably around the foot.
Midsole: A women's specific fit with a specific last construction to meet the fit requirements of female athletes. Full length SpEVA® midsole for its excellent responsive and plush feel during races. SpEVA® is a proprietary midsole material that improves bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown. Rearfoot GEL® cushioning system provides shock attenuation in the heel. Trusstic System™, a molded component, reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. This shoe is California Slip Lasted meaning the upper is stitched around the outside of an insole, allowing for flexibility and light weight.
Outsole: A 6-spike configuration conforms to the perimeter of the outsole to provide traction regardless of terrain. Its unique spike plate design allows the shoe to be used on virtually any surface, with rubberized pins included for courses that contain paved surfaces, along with standard metal spike pins for grass and dirt.
