Upper: UA's FootSleeve™ is a ventilated internal sleeve, engineered to hug the foot, provide a seamless flexion area, and eliminate tongue sliding and extra bulk. FootSleeve™ streamlines the shoe's construction and renders the traditional footwear tongue obsolete. Air mesh provides excellent breathability while synthetic overlays integrated into the lacing system provide increased support and durability. Padded heel collar is lined with HeatGear® for increased comfort and excellent moisture transport. Padded air mesh tongue maximizes ventilation. Reflective accents provide increased visibility in low light.
Midsole: ArmourBound™ delivers maximum responsive cushioning. ArmourLastic™ absorbs shock at critical impact zones in the heel and forefoot for maximum protection. ArmourGuide™ ensures efficient foot-strike guidance from impact to propulsion. Cartilage 3™ Precision Handling™ is the connective element that allows the midsole components to work in independent suspension with foot-strike. It is designed with the maximum internal thickness of at least 10mm to provide a more pronounced elastic connection between the structural and cushioning components, to better protect, transition and cushion at impact. Removable Ortholite sockliner is layered with two different densities of foam and is lined with HeatGear® to provide a better rebound at impact and cushion to the footbed. Smooth Transition technology keeps the foot in constant contact throughout the gait cycle creating a smoother transition and an inherently more stable and supported midfoot. Directional Cushioning Engineering (DCE™) system provides integrated cushioning, stabilization, and propulsion.
Outsole: A blend of carbon rubber is found in the strike zone of the heel for extended wear in high impact zones. Blown rubber is used in the forefoot for increased cushioning and comfort. This combination allows for the best blend of flexibility and durability. Progressive Traction utilizes outsole shapes and configurations to provide enhanced directional traction, maximum ground penetration while maintaining rotational capability.
