Polarization Lens Technology: Polarization is embedded in the lightweight and durable polycarbonate lens. This optically precise filter enhances visual acuity by eliminating extreme glare and reflections. All Bollé lenses exceed ANSI (American National Standards Institute) requirements for UV protection, impact resistance and optical clarity. Carbo Glas® coating, an industrial strength coating, is applied to both sides of the lens for greater scratch resistance. An anti-reflective (AR) coating is applied on both sides of the lens because glare comes from two directions. This scientifically engineered coating on the backside if the lens eliminates backside glare to reduce eye strain. Ideal for everyday all-purpose use. Approximately 12% visible light transmission. |
