Chucks run larger than the Jack Purcell Converse. I would recommend a half size to a one size larger to have a comfortable fit for the Jack Purcell.

Converse has made low quality changes to the Jack Purcell without lowering prices. Holabirdsports shows the old model of the shoe that I wanted to purchase, but I received the new low quality version. This was my first pair of JPs, and I didn't realize I received the low quality version until a day or two after I started wearing them. I would recommend you not purchase these shoes if you're looking for the high quality pair most people rave about. The new pair is sub-par.

That partly depends on whether you are wearing these casually or for sports. If you are wearing them casually, you may be OK with the 11.5, just keep in mind that these fit a bit tight in the heel and midfoot.
