Comments about Dunlop Pressureless Bucket of 48:

I bought these to use in my Lobster ball machine because regular balls that had been open for too long didn't bounce enough. These balls bounce as high as Dunlops that had been opened for 11 months. So now I have consistently bad balls for use in my ball machine. Waste of money if you plan to use thes for practice. They are so different from regular balls that, it does not pay to use these for practice.

I use them for lessons. They are good for basic instruction, and drilling. A little heavy for playing points

          A:

These balls are hollow, but they are different from a conventional pressurized tennis ball. A normal ball gets its bounce from the pressurized air inside. Pressureless balls like this one get their bounce from a thicker rubber shell instead of pressurized air. The result is a ball that doesn't go "dead" or lose its bounce over time, but because of the thicker rubber shell, a pressureless ball will be heavier than a conventional ball.
