Honestly, nothing bad to say about this product. This is my first stringing machine, and after viewing a few youtube videos, it was a piece of cake to get started. The tools provided are perfect, excellent construction, and I bet this thing will last a long, long time. For the price, you just can't beat it. My only personal complaint is that I really wish I would have invested in one of these years ago!

I strung my good racquet with my usual 17g synthetic gut string for my first ever attempt at stringing, and it turned out perfect with the X-2 and the tools provided with the machine. (I used a diagonal cutter rather than razor knife to cut out the old strings.)

I strung two piece, at 60 lbs, starting mains with a "starting pin" made from a 10-24 nut and 8" of string cut out from the racquet, (I planned on using the starting clamp I purchased, but it was shipped separately arriving the next day), and upped the tension 5 lbs for last left and right main, and first and last cross. (Result: RacquetTune reported 60.2 lbs!)

Very easy to use. Love the ratchet feature. The base is narrower than the Progression 200 making it take less space on the shelf I'm storing it. The whole top of the base is a large lined tool tray. The drawer holds the T handle allen wrench, needle nose, razor knife, and both awls.

Clamps had no sharp edges (old complaint seen on net), and work smoothly. I did not have to set them very tight to hold without slipping.

(Watching YouTube stringing videos on stringing with flying clamps is a must before attempting to string your first racquet. The manual is ok, but nothing like video...)

Gamma X-2 stringing machine was drop shipped, while the bonus strings, USRSA guide, and everything else in same order came via UPS to the USPS, so arrived the next day.

I did not expect this and called customer service wondering where my other items were. They explained everything, providing tracking number that allowed me to see that the items were "transfered to USPS" so I knew they would come the next day.
