Comments about CamelBak Dart Vest 50 oz:

I am training for a marathon, and being in the South, I needed a way to hydrate on medium and long runs. This pack carries plenty of water for my runs from 10 to 20 miles. It also easily carries the 5 gel packs that I consume in the bottom pocket and the pouch that is on the strap. There is more room in a flat pocket on the back. I have no chaffing issues and wearing the pack is much more comfortable than expected. I half fill and freeze the reservoir the night before, and the fill the next morning. This gives me cold water for up to 3 hours. The only drawback is that you can't access the pockets while you are wearing the pack. I have to get a training partner to get gels from the pocket for me so that I don't have to remove the pack during runs. I had been apprehensive about trying a camelbak for running but I am glad I got it. It is great gear.
