Comments about Sorbothane Ultra Sole Insoles:

As a heavier runner (200 pounds), I have been using these insoles in shoes that already have greater cushioning, currently the HOKA Bondi. These insoles and buying new shoes frequently have helped me to keep running ultramarathons at age 64 with no history of any knee problems.

                • Q:

I have 2 pairs of these insoles. One I use in my street walking she's, the other in my hiking shoes. They have helped my feet feel much better. They were recommended to me by my physical therapist after I healed from a stress fracture in my foot. Now after using them for 1.5 years I am wondering if they should be replaced? How often do you honestly recommend replacing these insoles?

                    A:

There are many factors that go in to determining when to replace your insoles. The best way to determine when you need to replace your insoles is when you feel any discomfort.

Whats the difference between these and the graphite ones ? I'm looking to replace my insoles on my tennis sneakers .

                    A:

The Ultra Graphite Arch insole has a rigid graphite piece at the arch for maximum arch support. If you are just looking to replace the insole in your tennis shoe, the UltraSole insole is probably more suitable than the Ultra Graphite Arch insole.
