The length of a packet of string is generally the same at 40 feet. 15, 16, 17 and 18 is the Gauge. The gauge is the thickness of the string. The lower the number, the thicker the string. The thinner the string, the more control you have but get less durability.

        • About Genesis
In 2006, an ambitious group of tour level tennis players got together and formed Genesis. With Genesis, these players want to revolutionize the game of tennis; creating products which help players compete better. Genesis spent three years researching tennis string. They tested and studied string composition, and finally, in 2009, they entered the market with the Black Magic string and Spin X string, two exciting polyester strings. Genesis puts all of their string through rigorous testing to bring tennis players of all levels the very best.
