Comments about HEAD MicroGEL Radical Midplus:
My two kids have used this racquet for the past 5 years. One of them used it to play 4 years of division I college tennis and the other is using it as a competitive USTA junior ranked regionally in the top 20. I don't have a big budget to spend on racquet replacements for their high usage and this racquet has served the purpose well as shown by their successful results.

Comments about HEAD MicroGEL Radical Midplus:
I love this racquet! Exceptional power and control from the baseline. I would rate it good but not great for serving and average for volleys

Q:
I have a Head Microgel Monster racquet, and I want to find a replacement. Would this be it?Asked on 7/15/2012 by Webbie from Virginia1 answer
A:
It depends partly upon how much your game has changed and what you are looking for from your new racquet. The Radical is a more control-oriented racquet than the Monster and won't provide as much pop. If you feel that you have outgrown the MicroGEL Monster and are looking for a heavier frame that will help you control your power, then the MicroGEL Radical Midplus is an excellent choice. If you are looking for something that is just as close as possible to the MicroGEL Monster, you might want to consider the YouTek IG Instinct S (http://www.holabirdsports.com/tennis/racquets/head-youtek-ig-instinct-s.html) or the YouTek Mojo (http://www.holabirdsports.com/tennis/racquets/head-youtek-mojo.html). Both have pretty similar specs and are definitely worth a try.Answered on 7/19/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
