d3o™: The frame-inlay d3o™ is a smart material. The specially designed molecules in d3o™ react on different impacts within nano seconds. They stay soft during slow hits and lock together on hard strokes. With this behavior, d3o™ is able to sense the needs of your play and adapts to you. It provides maximum power as well as softer touch for a better feel.
Innegra™: Innegra™ is the world's lightest high performance fiber in the industry today. HEAD's advanced carbon composite technology combined with Innegra™ forms an extremely tough fiber. The new high composite structure is integrated into the racquet for shock absorption and improved stability. Vibration at ball impact is reduced by up to 17% for unmatched control and precision and is easier on your arm. HEAD's new hybrid-composite structure considerably extends the performance of your HEAD racquet at the highest level, giving you consistent performance over the entire life of your frame.

Comments about HEAD YouTek IG Speed Midplus 18x20:
This new racket by HEAD is a terrific stick. With a lightweight frame combined with a higher string pattern, this racket generates lots of power while at the same time generating ample topspin and incredible accuracy. I am a senior in high school and am the captain of our varsity tennis team. Because we are in the A Division we play against other schools that are very strong. I personally believe that this racket gives me the competitive edge that I need to play hard with its durable, lightweight frame and its ability to generate power, spin, and accuracy. With such a high quality racket and a decent price, this is definitely a stick I would recommend to everyone.

Q:
what strings should i buy?Asked on 3/26/2013 by andy is the coolest2 answers
A:
Each player's string and tension choice is really based on personal preference, so it is tough to make broad recommendations. At a general level, strings can be sort of divided into two groups: playability strings and durability strings. These two groups are mutually exclusive (more playable strings tend to break more quickly, while more durable strings won't play as nicely). If you are a frequent string breaker, you might want something more towards the durability end of the spectrum. Polyester strings like HEAD Sonic Pro or HEAD Ultra Tour will offer plenty of durability for heavy hitters. If you're not breaking strings too often, you might prefer something softer and more playable like HEAD FXP. If you have further questions about strings and stringing, please don't hesitate to contact us at (866) 860-1416 or info@holabirdsports.com and we would be happy to help.Answered on 3/27/2013 by Ryan from Holabird SportsA:

Both tension and type of string are very much based on personal preference so it can be difficult to make a broad, general recommendation. Strings can be broadly broken into two categories: playability and durability. In general, these two groups are mutually exclusive (more playable strings tend to break more quickly, while more durable strings won't play as nicely). If you are breaking strings frequently, you may want to consider a polyester string like HEAD Sonic Pro (which is currently offered free of charge with the purchase of this racquet). If you are not breaking strings as frequently, you might want to try something a bit softer like HEAD FXP (also currently offered free of charge with the purchase of this racquet). Both are good choices, depending upon the player's personal preferences and needs.
