What size shoes can you fit in the shoe compartment in the bottom? I have size 13 and need them to fit in the special compartment on the bottom. Not in the main compartment.

  The shoe compartment on the bottom is quite deep and should easily accommodate a pair of size 13 shoes.

  A size 13 shoe is 11-2/3 inches long. As the length for this backpack is stated as 13 inch there should be ample space for your shoe. If you are concerned about the shoes' height and width then one customer does confirm being able to fit a size 12 shoe in their 12' backpack shoe compartment. The dimensions for the 12' backpack are similar to this one give or take one inch so I think you are good to go with this one.
