Polyester Hybrid. Klip's X-plosive combines Legend natural gut with Klip's high performance polyester, K-Boom. X-plosive gives amazing power with unmatched durability through the combination of Legend and K-Boom. It's the perfect choice for elite players looking for a good combination between power and durability.
You can either have the polyester in the mains and the gut in the crosses producing more durability. Or you can have the gut in the mains and polyester in the crosses if you want more power. It is up to the player's preference.
X-plosive was featured in the USRSA October 2004 blind play-test (Unmarked strings are reviewed by a number of players, coaches and stringers). At the time it scored higher than any other string ever tested. The results were quite amazing including:
