Upper: Durable and breathable rip-stop textile upper is built for handling rugged trails. Arch-Lock is a construction method in which the midfoot area of the upper wraps over the foot connecting with the midsole to provide superior control and support by providing a snug and secure midfoot fit. A gusset tongue stays in place and provides extra support. Gaiter compatible to help keep debris from entering the shoe around the ankle. A special pocket on the top of the tongue allows you to tuck away your laces after they are tied to prevent snagging on trail debris and to help keep your laces tied.

Midsole: Heel Progrid™ with Respon-Tek is Saucony's latest impact deflection technology, absorbing impact, dissipating shock and setting the foot up for a smooth transition. SSL EVA is Saucony's most advanced EVA blend that maximizes rebound and durability while minimizing weight. An SRC Impact Zone provides shock attenuation and sets the foot up for a smooth transition. HRC forefoot cushioning is a responsive EVA/rubber compound which provides cushioning through the later stages of the gait cycle. EBO protects the foot from rocks and uneven terrain.

Outsole: Saucony's exclusive Vibram® compound is lightweight and has exceptional traction and grip for off-road conditions. Aggressive traction pattern grips the trails.
