All stitching has been removed from the heel collar for a better fit with less irritation. 3M Reflective Material enhances visibility during low light hours increasing safety. Padded air mesh tongue maximizes ventilation and comfort. Discrete eyelets are independently placed to disburse lace tension, creating a customized fitting environment and enhanced upper comfort.

Midsole: Forefoot and rearfoot GEL cushioning systems are strategically placed to absorb shock. Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.®) links components to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe off. Solyte™ midsole is a lighter material than both ASICS' standard EVA and SpEVA® with improved cushioning and durability. A top layer of injected Solyte® provides a cushioned platform feel in the forefoot. Women's models feature gender specific cushioning with a lower density for improved cushioning and forefoot comfort. Solyte™ 45 Last Construction enhances try-on comfort and long-lasting feel by employing ASICS' new proprietary Soltye™ Midsole Material. Space Trusstic System® creates a space between the Trusstic System® and the midsole, allowing for controlled midsole deformation and more efficient foot function. Removable ComforDry™ insole provides the optimum cushioning performance system that creates a cooler, drier, healthier shoe environment. Guidance Line™ vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency.
