Midsole: N-Ergy, a resilient engineered elastomer, is designed to provide shock absorption and responsiveness for the optimal ride. Molded removable EVA insole. Full EVA strobel board for increased cushioning. Full length ABZORB® midsole material has excellent cushioning and energy displacement properties. Stability Web® technology provides optimal arch support that's both rigid and lightweight while preventing midfoot flex. ACTEVA® LITE is 24% lighter than standard midsole foam and provides optimal compression set features thanks to DuPont™ Elvaloy®. Dual density post on the medial side provides stability to slow the rate of pronation. Built on New Balance's performance PL-1 standard running last.
Outsole: NDurance high durability rubber compound is used in high wear areas to increase longevity. Blown rubber forefoot for lightweight durability.

Expensive. But NB often are. Purchased on the advice of my podiatrist (an NB stability shoe). They are remarkably comfortable. Will be interested to see their longevity.
