Upper: Split suede upper with mesh quarter panels provides outstanding durability to handle the rigors of hiking. Padded mesh tongue and perforations in the suede provide increased breathability. Two support straps integrated into the lacing combined with an internal heel counter helps lock your heel in place for a smooth transition.

Midsole: ABZORB® insert in the heel provides a superior blend of cushioning and compression set features with DuPont™ Engage® and Isoprene rubber for the ultimate ride. Injection molded EVA midsole provides cushioning, shock absorption and resistance to compression set. Removable foam sockliner provides increased cushioning. Built on New Balance’s OL-1 hiking last with a narrow heel width, high instep height, deep toe box height and wide forefoot width.

Outsole: Solid rubber outsole with an aggressive lugged traction pattern provides grip all directions. Increased lateral support is achieved with a wrap up on the medial and lateral forefoot. Ndurance® used in high wear areas provides maximum durability.
