the shoe has nice stability for being a racer. I use it for running on the local golf course where stability is more important than cushioning. It's also a great 1/2 marathon shoe. It runs a 1/2 size small and it seems a bit narrower than a normal trainer.

Note to buyers... I train in asics 2150 2160's and so on.... I ordered these in a size 11 and I run in a size 10....I bought them a bit bigger because during a 1/2 or a full marathon your blood will swell up your fit... The size 11 fits loose and perfect... Just a small piece of advice ....SIZE UP 4 LONGER RUNS...
