Midsole: Mizuno Wave technology combines cushioning and stability for a great feel. SmoothRide engineering minimizes the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition creating the smoothest ride possible. AP+ midsole offers increased rebound and a bouncier feeling while still being durable and lightweight. Gender Engineering maximizes performance by tailoring footwear to the specific needs of men and women. Mizuno Intercool full-length midsole ventilation system reduces heat build-up inside the shoe. VS-1 shock absorbing insert in the heel. Removable sockliner for added comfort.

After 3 pairs of Brooks Beasts, I switched to the Wave Alchemy 12 and I'm very impressed. The shoe is very comfortable - the toe box isn't as tight as the Beast, and it's lighter weight. It's not always easy to find running shoes in size 12.5. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this shoe again.

I have worn this shoe for the past 5 years. I have run 3 half marathons and never had a problem. Last month I found out that the Running Room no longer carries the shoe and I could not find another store to purchase it at. I was intent on not changing brands so I searched the net to see if it was available.I found Holibird sports in the US (I am from Toronto) The ordering was easy and the shoe arrived on a timely basis.
I recoomend this company.

I go to the gym about 4 times a week. I do about one and a half hours of cardio. Running, bike, stairs, arc trainer ,etc. These are the best shoes I have ever had, they are so light and breathable. I have FLAT feet like crazy flat and i feel great in these. No complaints so far.
