Mizuno Intercool features a removable insert with a full length midsole ventilation system that reduces heat and humidity build up within the shoe. Smoothride Technology minimizes rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible. VS-1 shock absorbing cushioning compound found in the heel minimizes strain on knees and ankles.

This shoe is more than a Rider but less than a Creation...arch support is medium to low...I wear over the counter New Balance arch support..good transition and breathability..I weigh 195...with high arches...

I run 40 - 50 miles a week. I have found that this shoe holds up well over long runs ( over 10 miles ) as compared to other shoes I have run in. Does okay with speed work as well.

This is a good shoe and I will use it in the gym, but was expecting a little more. I've worn Wave Riders for a couple of years and they are a better shoe. Wave Riders have a better heel cushion and are a better running shoe for a heavier runner.

My second pair after parting ways with Saucony. I'm a 35-45 mile a week runner and the durability and comfort are incredible. I've had numerous injuries in years past and these compensate for any mal-alignments my body needs. Wonderful product!
