Overall these shoes fit my wider feet well and found that they do not require any break in. The soles are very durable and the shoe offers good stability and support. However, after playing for a few hours I had some pain in my left big toe. While I admit that I was wearing thinner socks that day I do feel that the insoles are cheap, thin, very hard, and cushionless. I've since replaced/upgraded the stock insoles with a top quality pair of orthotic insoles. It is somewhat discouraging to me to find such cheap insoles in a supposeitly premium shoe at a premium price. Aside from this I do like these shoes. In contrast to the Asics I've owned and worn I like these shoes more.
