I am a longtime wearer of Asics tennis shoes and never experienced the blister issues that I had with this particular model. During my first outing, the shoes cut across the top of my left foot and were painful to move in. Take my advice and pass on this model. Asics are normally very comfortable and need no breaking in. This, however, may have been a defective pair.
