I ordered the shoe 1/2 size big and was surprised when it fit to tight on the outside of the shoe behind my little toe. I have always worn a D width shoe.

This shoe was disappointing. Previous shoe was Prince T-8 and I loved them - but they're not made anymore. The sole of the Renegade is a full 1/2" narrower than the T-8 and both are 'D' width. Apparently they achieved weight reduction by trimming the sole width - at the expense of comfort and stability.
