Comments about Wilson Tour Vision II Men White/Black/Silver:
This is actually the first pair of Wilson tennis shoes I have ever owned and I've been pretty happy. The Wilson Tour Vision II is a nice, versatile tennis shoe. It has plenty of cushioning underfoot thanks to a gel insert in the heel and forefoot—making it perfect for extended play on hard courts. Although the shoe is a bit on the heavy side, it's a tradeoff I'm willing to make for the extra cushioning. The Tour Vision II is really no heavier than other well-cushioned tennis shoes anyway.
The tongue and heel collar are very well padded and hugged my foot. The lacing system kept my foot locked down, preventing slippage in the heel. I've had issues with other tennis shoes letting my heel slip and causing blisters to form, but the Tour Vision II didn't give me any trouble. The shoe was initially a bit stiff, but fit well out of the box and didn't require any break-in period before I took them to the court.
I really only had two minor gripes with the Tour Vision II. I wasn't a fan of the traction pattern on the outsole. When pushing off quickly to get a ball, the outsole seemed to have some trouble gripping the court so I couldn't explode to the ball as quickly. I usually play on hard courts that don't have a lot of grit, so the courts could also take part of the blame here. I also thought the shoe got hot during extended play and didn't vent as well as other shoes I have worn.
Overall, this is a very solid tennis shoe. I found it to be well-cushioned and comfortable. The outsole guarantee is also a nice bonus for anyone playing lots of hours on hard courts and wearing out shoes.
