Upper: Combination suede and mesh upper with GORE-TEX® lining is durable and breathable while providing waterproof protection. Gusseted tongue keeps trail debris and moisture out of the shoe. Padded tongue and heel collar for step in comfort that lasts. Durable rubberized toe cap provides increased protection. Open vamp area for added flexibility and comfort. Gaiter compatible hardware keeps you dry in the harshest conditions.

Midsole: C-Cap compression molded EVA provides superior midsole cushioning and flexibility. Rock Stop® is a protective flexible layer that protects your feet from rocks and shock by minimizing pressure and dispersing shock energy. Removable insole for increased cushioning. ABZORB® is New Balance's top of the line midsole foam and provides an amazing blend of comfort, performance and compression set properties with DuPont™ Engage® along with isoprene rubber. Built on New Balance's RL-3 road/trail racing last that has a narrow heel width, standard instep height, standard toe box height and wide forefoot width.

Outsole: Vibram® outsole provides the best in durability and traction. Aggressive, lugged outsole provides superior traction on any surface, in any weather.
