Upper: AIRMesh™ with synthetic overlays for support provides the utmost in breathability and comfort of the upper. Dynamotion Fit™ relieves the stress the foot naturally places on footwear and eliminates distortion in the collar and heel during the gait cycle that results in heel slippage and a poor fit. The goal of DynaMotion Fit™ is to create perfect harmony between your body and your running shoes. DynaMotion Fit ™ in the Creation 13 also includes two way stretch in the forefoot to compensate for stretching of the foot during toe off as well as the ability to hold key areas in place, keeping the foot centered on the midsole.
Midsole: Mizuno's revolutionary Infinity Wave™ provides the ultimate in cushioning, rebound and durability by reducing the shoes reliance on midsole foam. Sensor Point™ suspension system connects the Wave plate to the ground, thereby enhancing stability and traction. AP+ midsole enhances the inherent properties of AP Midsole. AP+ improves the quality of the running experience by offering increased rebound and a "bouncier" feeling which extends the cushioning durability, while maintaining the lightweight performance you've come to expect from Mizuno. Mizuno Intercool full-length midsole ventilation system reduces heat and humidity build-up inside the shoe. SmoothRide™ Engineering minimizes the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible. A removable Ortholite® sockliner provides a responsive first feel.
25mm heel height, 13mm forefoot height.
Outsole: X-10™ featured in this shoe is the most durable carbon rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and supplements traction at heel strike. SmoothRide Engineered, a solid rubber forefoot outsole design for durability and flexibility.

Since men are generally heavier than women, their running shoes must be able to absorb greater impact forces. Running shoe soles with an inadequate width can lead to a feeling of insecurity. Therefore, Mizuno has introduced a wider, slightly flared sole, increasing the landing area in the men's running shoes. The result is a more stable and secure run.
Shoefitr lets you try on shoes online by showing you how they will fit.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Creation 13 Men Silver/Cyber Yellow/Indigo Blue:
Not as much cushioning as Asic's Nimbus, but a good overall shoe.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Creation 13 Men Silver/Cyber Yellow/Indigo Blue:
I read lots of reviews but wished I tried them first. These shoes are very tall and stiff. If you lan on the midsole like me, it's a bit like landing on a wooden board and not entirely comfortable to run in. Ever since getting these, I started have knee pain and can no longer run in them. To each their own but don't buy them without trying a pair in a local running store and running on a hard surface first.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Creation 13 Men Silver/Cyber Yellow/Indigo Blue:
I run 2 - 3 times per week. Great shoe for avoiding knee and hip pain from repeated impacts. Size about one full size up from your normal dress shoe.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Creation 13 Men Silver/Cyber Yellow/Indigo Blue:
I like these shoes! As a heavier, slow, and inconsistent runner, I find I can throw these on, and they never feel different.
On my usual route, I do 85% pavement/concrete, and 15% dirt. These shoes do very good on both surfaces. The sole is holding up remarkably well, for the the abuse it has to take.
