Stability. A better fit and feel awaits you in the Mizuno Wave Elixir 7. The next generation in the Elixir series, this shoe keeps your feet comfortable all while making sure you hit your new PR in style.
Upper:Dynamotion Fit relieves the stress the foot naturally places on footwear, eliminating distortion for a perfect fit. Airmesh upper provides the utmost in breathability and comfort of the upper foot.
Midsole:Mizuno Wave® technology uses a removable insert to combine cushion and stability, two distinctly different elements that are both necessary for a supported run, to keep your foot comfortable. AP+ technology offers increased rebound and a bouncier feeling, which extends the cushion durability while maintaining the lightweight performance you can come to expect of a Mizuno shoe. Smoothride Technology minimizes rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible.
22mm heel height, 10mm forefoot height.
Outsole:X10 outsole features a durable carbon rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and supplements traction at heel strike. G3 sole technology provides superior grip with less weight. Combination G3/blown rubber forefoot outsole design for cushioning and flexibility.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Elixir 7 Men Yellow/Blue:
The Mizuno Elixir series are great shoes and Version 7 does not disappoint. They don't seem to hold up as long as Versions 5 and before, but they are still wonderful shoes that are very light and feel broken in straight out of the box.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Elixir 7 Men Yellow/Blue:
I got these for a half marathon. Got them two days before the race, wore them once for a 4 mile training run, and then wore them for the half marathon. No blisters, no cuts, nothing. Best shoe ever and the color really got noticed.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Elixir 7 Men Yellow/Blue:
I am starting my fifth season as a runner and triathlete and finally found shoes that really fit well. Please note that running shoes are going to be a very individual experience.
What I can say about the Wave Elixir 7s is that they are light and fit me very nicely. They have more of a road feel than the Brooks Ravenna 2s that I wore before I switch to these, but are considerably lighter. The wear rate seems to be pretty good - I get about 500 miles out of a pair, and while they don't look noticeably worn out, I can tell the difference in the feel when I put on the replacements. Overall, I'm very happy with these shoes!
One other thing to note - there is a new version 8 available. I have not tried it yet, so I can not tell you if it has changed structurally, or if it is just a cosmetic change. I will keep buying these until I can't find them anymore.

Migrated from Wave Inspires to this one.
Just ran an excellent half-marathon in these Elixirs. My feet felt great during and after the race (no blisters).
Highly recommended.
