These have been good running shoes so far. The cushioning has been great, especially after switching from a two year old pair!

Comments about Mizuno Wave Inspire 8 Men White/Anthracite/Sun:
I have always been an Asics guy but after reading the great reviews on this Mizuno shoe I decided to give them a try. These shoes are incredible. Being a big guy (6'5 and 230 lbs) I needed a shoe that could handle the pounding. My first run in these shoes I ran 5 miles and felt great during and after the run. These shoes are everything the reviews said they were. Mizuno has a new convert.

Q:
I was told by my trainer I needed a "neutral" shoe; i.e. b/c of my orthotics, I did not need any extra stabilization. Is the Wave for me, or should I look at another Brooks? I am just getting back into running, and Brooks has been recommended to me. Thank you.Asked on 4/17/2013 by Urban Oldster from Brooklyn1 answer
A:
The Mizuno Wave Inspire is a stability shoe. If you are using an orthotic and are looking for a neutral shoe you might want to consider the Mizuno Wave Rider (http://www.holabirdsports.com/catalogsearch/result/?cat=720&q=wave+rider) or the Mizuno Wave Creation (http://www.holabirdsports.com/catalogsearch/result/?cat=720&q=wave+creation) instead. The Rider and Creation are two of Mizuno's more popular, neutral shoes and they don't have any additional pronation control features that will interfere with the function of your orthotic.Answered on 4/18/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
