Comments about Mizuno Wave Rider 16 Lady Aruba Blue/Electric/Anthracite:
The Wave Rider 16 (WR16) is so much lighter than Wave Rider 15 (WR15). The bottom is identical to the WR15. No difference. The sides are 1-1/2 inch thicker than WR15, which is super nice for extra added cushion support and pronation control. I have not experienced any shin splint or heel pain with Mizuno. The WR16 does not have a reflective logo compared to the WR15. The pink color is a vibrant neon hot bubble gum pink. The top surface (material) is very smooth with breathable tiny holes underneath. However, this is difficult to see on-line. It is a nice change in style. There are two Mizuno logos on the WR16. The side logo is very small set against a black background. The rear of the shoe has a Japanese logo, in the form of a circle, which reads "Mizuno" in Japanese letters. Very, very cool. Durability, support and comfort are why I run in nothing else but Mizuno. These are much lighter than WR15, which I appreciate. Think of Mizuno as an investment.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Rider 16 Lady Aruba Blue/Electric/Anthracite:
The Mizuno Wave Rider 16 is one of the best running shoes that I own. I own several Mizuno brand running shoes and this one is bar-none the lightest and most comfortable. There is no breaking it in -- right out of the box -- I ran 16 miles outdoors. No heel pain or shin splints. My order arrived in 5-days. Wow! The heel in the back is thicker, and measures 1-1/2 inches, compared to the Wave Rider 15, which measures one inch and three centimeters. The Wave Rider 16 has a smaller Mizuno logo on the inside, while the logo on the outside is large. The tongue and shoe lace are jet black with bubble gum dark pink bottom which matches the logo perfectly. However, the entire bottom is identical to Wave Rider 15. What is so great about the Mizuno Wave Rider 16 is that the outside is smooth, more lightweight and breathable. It is a beautiful true light aqua blue color. This is a super comfortable running shoe and hugs your feet perfectly. No slipping, no rubbing, and no blisters. Mizuno runs a half-size small, so if you normally wear a size 7, order a 7-1/2. I use them for running outdoors, working out at the gym, and running on the treadmill. The Mizuno 16 feels much lighter than Mizuno 15.
