Reducing the weight with a seamless design, Mizuno Wave Rider 17 running shoes are lighter and more comfortable to wear. The updated U4iC midsole provides resiliency and a smooth ride at a fraction of the weight of traditional midsoles. Your feet will appreciate the sculpted fit and exceptionally flexible experience. Ideal for neutral runners.

Upper: Dynamotion FIT™ moves with your foot seamlessly throughout your stride, eliminating stress points and bunching for a more comfortable run. Mesh provides ventilated flexibility. Padded heel collar enhances instep comfort. Lace-up front offers an adjustable fit.

Midsole: U4iC midsole provides resiliency and a smooth ride at a fraction of the weight of traditional midsoles. Wave Technology® dissipates impact forces away from the foot for a smoother, more cushioned feel on every step. Removable insole.

Outsole: X10® durable carbon rubber outsole allows for longer wear in high impact areas and supplements traction at heel strike. SmoothRide Engineering™ minimizes the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transitions, creating the smoothest ride possible.

      Great shoe-such an awesome design!

      Service and delivery comments:

Very impressed with Holabird-they had the running shoes I wanted at a fraction of the price compared to other online stores. I even called them because I thought it was too good to be true. I received exactly what I ordered within 7 days (I think it actually only took 4 business days) and the size was exactly as advertised (EE which is what I need) Thanks for the great service and prices!

Comments about Mizuno Wave Rider 17 Men's White/Black/Fiesta:

Ordered these from my middle school son running Cross Country as my husband has worn wave rider's in the past and always loved them. He received them 3 weeks into the season and by the end of season the sole had cracked and peeled away from the toe box, the webbing/fabric had started fraying at the side wall of the toe box, you can completely tell how he runs as the bottom of the sole had packed out and worn down where he tends to land. This kind of wear and tear is not unusual for my running son or husband after 9months to a year as they do put their running shoes through a lot, but overall looked like shoes you've been running in for 5 years when he had actually only worn them less than 6 weeks!

Comments about Mizuno Wave Rider 17 Men's White/Black/Fiesta:

I think they simply got this one wrong. It feels like a bad Nike knock off. It's light but the lack of forefoot cushioning is a not very good. The first time I wore them I immediately felt like the back of my foot was too high compared to the front of my foot. I almost felt like I was going to fall flat on my face. This never improved over time.
