Upper: Synthetic mesh upper is lightweight and supportive. 3M® Reflective materials provide increased visibility in low light conditions. Phantom seamless liner provides a comfortable fit and prevents irritation. Gillie lacing allows for a snug fit.
Midsole: Rollbar with medial and lateral TPU post with composite plate designed to minimize rearfoot movement (pronation and supination). When combined with TS2®, it provides the ultimate in motion control. A full length ABZORB® insert, New Balance's top of the line foam material with excellent cushioning and compression set properties, in the forefoot and heel with a blend of DuPont™ Engage®, Isoprene rubber and proprietary materials provides the ultimate ride. Removable Ortholite® insole provides breathable cushioning.
Outsole: Walking Strike Path stabilizes the foot through the walking gait cycle. N-durance outsole material is a non-marking rubber compound used for maximum durability in high wear areas. Non-marking, lightweight rubber outsole.

I use this shoe all the time for general walking and lite workouts at the gym. New Ballance shoes seem to run a little narrow so I bought this one size wider.

I love NB shoes so these kind of disappointed me. Even though they were wide EE, and the exact same size as a different model NB I ordered at the same time, these were a much snugger fit. I can't say they would definitely be uncomfortable, because I did not wear them enough to be sure, but it worried me.
The main reason I returned them is they SQUEAKED with every step, right out of the box. Even on carpet.
The customer service was great about letting me return them. No hassle at all.
