The revamped New Balance 996v3 is a fresh take on the lighter weight court favorite. This version is even lighter and features a Nylon infused knitted upper for excellent breathability, flexibility, and an adaptive fit. Lightweight cushion ensures players are comfortable during hours of play. Trendy color gradients provide a more modern spin on this court shoe.

Upper:Features a nylon infused knitted upper material for adaptive structure, breathability, and flexibility.

Midsole: REVlite innovative foam compound provides the same responsiveness and durability of New Balance foams 30% heavier without minimizing construction or sacrificing underfoot cushioning or stability. ProBank lightweight stability technology is designed to guide foot positioning during lateral cutting movements.

Outsole: Herringbone outsole allows increased traction for lateral motion and quick pivoting. Ndurance® rubber compound provides maximum durability used in high wear areas.

Note on Fit: Based on customer and manufacturer feedback, this model of the 996 is considered to fit slightly smaller in the width than other tennis models. The 996v3 is built on a more athletic and narrower last than models like the 806 or the 1006. However, the 996v3 is considered to have a less narrow fit than its predecessor, the 996v2.

New Balance’s 6-Month Outsole Durability Limited Warranty Guarantee

New Balance’s 6-month NDurance rubber outsole limited warranty guarantee applies to the New Balance 1296v2, 996v3, and 1006, and applies only to the hard court–specific NDurance rubber outsole.

  • About New Balance
New Balance has grown to be one of the largest manufacturers of running shoes and they've done this without expensive advertising campaigns. New Balance knows that there is no better press than positive word-of-mouth. New Balance began as an arch support company, but in 1960, they designed the first running shoe with a ripple sole and the first running shoe that came in varying widths. It didn't take long before New Balance running shoes were used by college track teams all over the country. Today, New Balance makes their shoes available in more widths than almost any other company and that means that there's a New Balance that can fit nearly any foot. Although they started by making running shoes, New Balance tennis shoes are an industry staple and are loved by recreational and serious players. New Balance also makes fine running and tennis apparel, as well as a variety of socks and other sporting accessories.
