The first stability trainer of its kind, this lightweight shoe provides stability to slow the rate of pronation without plastic or gimmicks, just pure, geometry driven stability. Ideal for over pronators looking to lighten up their ride, the Faas 800 from Puma provides a smooth transition from heel to toe. Traditional stability running shoes have a firmer density “post” along the medial midsole to slow the rate of pronation. The Faas 800 has no medial post to weigh you down so you can run smoothly in the lightest shoe possible, even if you need a little stability.
Upper: Breathable air mesh upper with lightweight supportive overlays integrated into the lacing system. Reflective Puma logo on lateral side of shoe and on back heel collar for increased visibility and safety in low light. Padded heel collar and air mesh padded tongue provide step in comfort that lasts with increased breathability.
Midsole: Removable, highly breathable antimicrobial OrthoLite® sockliner provides maximum fit and comfort, fast material regeneration and optimized air circulation. BioRide and Faas Ride LR Construction provides a smooth transition. Compression molded Faas EVA midsole provides optimal cushioning and resistance to compression set without weighing you down. idCELL 50 lasting provides increased cushioning.
Outsole: EVERTRACK, a high abrasion resistant rubber, provides long lasting rubber composite used in outsole areas with strong wear-off. EVERRIDE is a blown EVERTRACK rubber outsole component with high abrasion resistant rubber for extra cushioning and weight saving. Biomechanically placed flex grooves add responsiveness and optimal flexibility.
Puma's Clever Little Bag is included with purchase. Smarter than an old fashioned shoebox, the Clever Little Bag uses 65% less paper than a standard box and can be used over and over again as your shoe carrier bag.
