  • Q:

We have a new line master and the wheels are very tight and it is hard to push it and get the wheels moving. Can the wheels be loosened up or adjusted. Or is this due to the spring tension and can that be adjusted?

This may be caused to the spring tension. Try using WD-40 to help grease it up a little bit to roll with ease.

Although we don't carry replacement parts for the Linemaster, the brush assembly (including the springs) is fairly easy to remove and replace. To remove the brush assembly, gently pull the brush unit just out of the aluminum frame bushing slots and carefully disconnect the springs from the plastic bushings near the brush. You can then remove the plastic bushings from the axle by using pliers to gently twist the bushings off. If you wish to replace the brush, it should now easily slide off the axle so the new brush can be installed. At this time you can also install new springs if the old springs are damaged, bent, or broken.
