A:
While there is no specific requirement that you lower tension when using a polyester string, I usually recommend dropping the tension by approximately 5% (usually 2-3 pounds). Polyester strings are stiff, so reducing the tension helps offset that stiffness for slightly more comfort.Answered on 8/22/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
