This watch does not calculate speed or distance. It does have a target pace feature that will allow you to set a desired pace per lap. Each time you take a lap, it will use audible alerts to let you know whether you are on pace, slower than your pace, or faster than your pace.Answered on 3/8/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
