I bought this sock because of its acrylic content with the intent of using it in a Tough Mudder event. However, the sock was so thick that i couldn't wear it with my shoes and had to shop for another pair of socks. If you have shoes with extra room in them, then this sock is great, but you do need loose shoes to wear them.
