Upper: Optional speed laces are included for a quick transition from bike to run. Padded tongue and heel collar for maximum comfort. Glow-in-the-dark elements on the heel and toe for added style and visibility. Open mesh upper enhances ventilation helping tri-athlete’s feet dry quickly and stay dry. Soft liner materials and limited interior stitching allow the shoe to be worn barefoot.
Midsole: Solyte® midsole material is a lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS’ standard EVA and SpEVA®. Space Trusstic System® midfoot stabilizer creates a pocket between the Trusstic System® device and the midsole allowing for controlled midsole deformation and more efficient function. Guidance Line® vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency. Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.®) design philosophy employs linked componentry that enhances the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. Heel and forefoot GEL® cushioning systems attenuate shock during impact and toe-off phases and allow movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. DuoMax® support system dual density midsole is positioned to enhance support and stability. Removable, perforated sockliner helps drain moisture. Dual density Solyte® lasting.
21.5mm heel midsole height, 11.5mm forefoot midsole height.
Outsole: AHAR® ASICS High Abrasion Rubber is placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability. DuraSponge® outsole uses a blown AHAR® rubber compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot.

Comments about ASICS GEL-Noosa Tri 7 Men Neon Orange/White/Turquoise:
Great pair of shoes for me. Purchased a 2nd pair. Asics widened the toe box. Fit me as well as anything I have ever tried. Super Tri shoe if youcan get by the color. Really easy on the fascia surrounding my achilles. For me these are as good as it gets.

Comments about ASICS GEL-Noosa Tri 7 Men Neon Orange/White/Turquoise:
I wear them mostly at work...and got TONS OF COMPLEMENTS on their appearance.
They are lightweights, VERY breathable, but seem to wear quickly
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was quick, wrapped in plastic (so they never got wet in the rain)

Comments about ASICS GEL-Noosa Tri 7 Men Neon Orange/White/Turquoise:
Second pair of Tri 7s that I have owned. The last pair started to wear out, after about 600-700 miles (mostly treadmill). New pair is performing just as well so far. Have only put about 15-20 miles on them...so far. Lightweight, excellent cushioning, and good stability.

Q:
What are it's stability characteristics? pronators? supinators? normal?Asked on 4/8/2013 by na2 answers
A:
This shoe has a system in the mid-foot that reduces excess pronation.Answered on 4/9/2013 by Community Answer from NoneA:
The GEL-Noosa Tri™ has some support features built in for mild overpronation. It is a fairly lightweight shoe designed with speed and racing in mind. Runners who overpronate more severely may want to consider a slightly more robust shoe with a bit more support.Answered on 4/9/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
Q:
if i am a size 10 in womens in asics shoes, what size am I in mens?Asked on 6/11/2012 by ash from nj1 answer
A:
The size conversion varies depending upon the brand and shoe. Normally, there is about a 1 1/2 to 2 size difference between men's and women's sizes. If you wear a size 10 in women's, you should be between an 8 and 8 1/2 in men's shoes.Answered on 6/14/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
