Q:
The chest strap is water resistance? It works for swimming?Asked on 4/1/2013 by Mario from Mexico1 answer
A:
This unit is really not designed for swimming. While the watch itself is water resistant up to a depth of 30 meters, water usually interferes with the chest strap's ability to get a heart rate reading. Additionally, while submerged, the water may interfere with the watch's ability to locate the GPS satellite signals which could lead to inaccurate distance readings.Answered on 4/1/2013 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
