Q:
Will this work as well for bicycling?Asked on 6/17/2012 by misspris from hesperia,ca2 answers
A:
This unit will not function for cycling applications.Answered on 6/19/2012 by Ryan from Holabird SportsA:
A pedometer measures steps taken so won't work with bicycling as steps are not taken. A speed and distance monitor, or speedometer would work with cycling.Answered on 6/21/2012 by Community Answer from None
Q:
How do I set my stride length adjustment and how do I figure what my stride length adj. is?Asked on 6/15/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
Once the unit has been activated, you can begin entering personal data. You will have to enter several other pieces of information before entering your stride length. First you will need to select a unit of distance by pressing the Mode button until you are in Step Mode. Then press and hold the Adjust button. You can select a unit of distance (miles or kilometers) by pressing the Reset button to toggle between them. Next, press the Mode button to advance to weight adjustment. You can enter your weight by pressing the Reset button. Once you are done setting your weight, press the Mode button once more to advance to stride length adjustment. You can then adjust your stride length by pressing the Reset button.
You can easily measure your stride length with a tape measure and two pieces of tape. First, mark off a starting point with some tape. Put your toes on the tape and take ten steps in a straight line. At the end of your tenth step, create a second mark directly in front of your forward foot. Using your tape measure, measure the distance and divide by ten. The resulting number is your stride length. You can repeat this several times if you wish to get a better average.Answered on 6/18/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
