Moderate Stability. The best one to date with a refined fit, Mizuno’s Wave Inspire 8 proves that stability and light weight can coexist to create one magnificent shoe.
Upper: Mizuno AIRmesh provides the utmost in breathability and comfort. Dynamotion Fit design technology relieves stress that the foot naturally places on footwear and eliminates distortion for the perfect fit. Padded tongue and heel collar hug the foot for premium comfort.
Midsole: Mizuno Wave technology combines cushioning and stability—two distinctly different elements that are both inherently necessary in great running shoes. AP+ midsole material offers increased rebound and a bouncier feeling that extends the cushioning durability without sacrificing lightweight performance. Gender Engineering philosophy creates a gender specific fit with flex lines that are perfect for the female foot. The Mizuno Intercool full-length midsole ventilation system reduces heat and humidity build-up inside the shoe. VS-1™ shock-absorbing compound in the heel cushions impacts for a more comfortable ride. Removable insole for customizable fit and comfort.
24mm heel height, 12mm forefoot height.
Outsole: X10™ durable carbon rubber in the heel is long wearing with good traction. SmoothRide engineering minimizes the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition thereby creating the smoothest ride possible.
Recipient of the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance, which recognizes products that have been found beneficial to foot health, and of significant value when used in a consistently applied program of daily foot care and regular professional treatment.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Inspire 8 Lady Opal/Lime/Barite:
I'm a moderate pronator and find the Wave Inspires the BEST running shoes for me. A friend and I have similar foot issues and find that buying the wrong shoe can be the death of the regular run. She usually goes Asics because, while the most comfortable, Mizunos do lack on the look front. While I don't mind them, I do notice that she's always more stylish than I.
These shoes provide the support I need with the cushion and longevity that can sustain daily 3+ mile runs AND to act as my everyday sneakers for more than 6 months before they start to break down a bit and I find I have to start thinking about replacing them.

Have tried other brands but always come back to Mizuno. No other shoe fits my foot as perfectly as Mizuno.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Inspire 8 Lady Opal/Lime/Barite:
I have worn Mizunos before so I know to order a half size larger than my typical dress shoe size. I have been running for over 10 years and I have worn many different brands but prefer Mizunos or Asics. I also don't spend a fortune on running shoes. I like to spend around $75-80 and I purchase new running shoes every 450 to 500 miles logged.
Service and delivery comments:
I think it is great that Holabird offers free shipping. The shoes arrived in a day or 2 at most. I like that they take the time to lace the shoes for their online customers.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Inspire 8 Lady Opal/Lime/Barite:
For stability, comfort and support these are awesome! I own this pair in a different color. I am getting ready to re-order my second pair. This shoe is super lightweight and provides great pronation support. I run 10-miles per day five days per week. I rotate my running shoes, but these have out-lasted my other Mizuno running shoes by far. They are super comfortable, but run a half-size small. I normally wear a size 8 in other running shoes, but in the Mizuno brand, I wear a size 8-1/2. You will not be disappointed with this pair of running shoes. They are my "go to" running shoes.

Comments about Mizuno Wave Inspire 8 Lady Opal/Lime/Barite:
The performance of this running shoe is excellent. I own the Mizuno Wave Rider 15 and 16 and this is my first pair of Mizuno Inspire. WOW, I was impressed with the support and quality, coupled with light weight, excellent support and extra cushion. I appreciate the support. No knee or leg pain. The Inspire is outstanding for running outdoors as well on a treadmill. Mizunos are the only running shoes I own. I highly recommend them for their quality, support and pronation control. Oh yeah, the colors are awesome!
