Comments about Soleus GPS 3.0 Heart Rate Monitor Black/Sol:
The watch is great. I walk an average of 6 miles per day and about 2-4 5k runs per month. I purchased the watch to keep track of distance, speed, and heart rate which it does great.
The watch is easy use and if the gps stays off it has a good battery life. What I don't much care for is how easy the buttons are to push and how any mode selected other than time will activate the GPS. When not running this is a big deal because it will kill the batter quick.
Service and delivery comments:
Customer service was great. It took a bit longer to recieve it than I expected however that is nothing against the company as I had it shipped to an APO addy.

Comments about Soleus GPS 3.0 Heart Rate Monitor Black/Sol:
Overall the product is well worth the money. With a few minor ajustments by the designer it would be great. The interval timer alarm is inaudible and when using the interval timer, I can't seem to make it display pace without scrolling to a new screen. The software is slow and as far as I can tell it doesn't show elevation. Data can be exported to MapMyRun where elevation can be reviewed. As far as accuracy, size and weight the unit is great. For the money it is hard to beat.

Q:
What does 5 ATM water resistnat mean? Can this product be used swmming?Asked on 3/15/2012 by Anonymous2 answers
A:
ATM stands for “atmospheres” and is a measure of pressure. This watch is water resistant up to a pressure of 5 atmospheres (about 50 meters deep in water). The watch can be used while swimming, but the heart rate monitor portion won’t function underwater. I would also recommend not pushing any of the buttons while the watch is submerged as that can sometimes cause leakage even on water resistant watches.Answered on 3/16/2012 by Ryan from Holabird SportsA:
1 ATM = 33 feet below the surface of the ocean. So a 5 ATM watch is water proof to 165 deep. It's safe to use this watch while swimming.Answered on 3/20/2012 by Community Answer from None
Q:
How much time does the batery work?Asked on 3/5/2012 by Antonio from NC2 answers
A:
It's hard to tell, because it's a new product and not many people have used it yet. The USB charging function makes it easy to recharge it any time you need to though.Answered on 3/7/2012 by Community Answer from NoneA:
If the watch is used in continuous GPS mode, the battery should last between 8 and 11 hours. If the watch is not being used in GPS mode the battery will last over a year before needing to be charged. If the battery is fully depleted it will take about 4 hours to fully recharge.Answered on 3/8/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
