Trail Neutral. This lightweight trail shoe combines the best rugged protection features with a nimble performance design for a more minimal trail shoe. The ASICS GEL-Fujitrainer™ 2 has an aggressive outsole with GEL cushioning for excellent performance.
Upper: Mesh upper with synthetic overlays. Padded tongue and heel collar. Textile lining. Lace pocket on tongue allows you to secure laces so they won't become snagged on branches or rocks.
Midsole: Rearfoot GEL® cushioning system attenuates shock during the impact phase and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. Solyte® midsole material is a lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS' standard EVA and SpEVA®. Perforated, removable sockliner.
Outsole: Trail specific outsole provides plenty of traction for off-road runs. AHAR® (ASICS High Abrasion Rubber) is placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability.

Comments about ASICS GEL-Fujitrainer 2 Men:
Great trail shoe, but the heel cup is too large and if one tries to tighten the laces to minimize the slipping, then you find too much pressure on the tendons on the top of the foot. ASICS needs to correct this, and then the Fuji Trainer would be outstanding, imo.
