product details
Upper: Element technology features a superior microfiber construction to provide a light, supple, quiet fabric that offers breathability, durability, or comfort.
Midsole: Brooks® DNA is a ground breaking, patent-pending cushioning material that provides a customized ride for runners of all sizes and speeds. Working with BioMoGo, Brooks® DNA responds to your every step, dispersing impact and providing ideal comfort and protection as the pace and surface change. BioMoGo midsole gives you an economically friendly compound as well as cushioning. This long lasting cushion midsole piece decomposes 50 times faster once it hits an active, enclosed landfill. Independent, medial-lateral Pivot Posts are shaped to minimize ground contact surface area, reducing the destabilizing effect of trail irregularities. Ballistic Rock Shield is a toughened thermoplastic EVA sheath between the outsole and midsole that protects the forefoot by spreading out point loads from sharp objects. Caterpillar Crash Pad customizes your lay down with just the right amount of cushion and stabilization, giving you the runner a smooth heel to toe transition. Full length S-257 cushole is a durable, energy efficient midsole compound that is utilized as an insole board for even more cushioning and flexibility.
Outsole: HPR Green is a durable and long wearing outsole compound that is made with dispersed silica, resulting premium wet-dry traction for excellent skid-resistance and a more environmentally friendly composition. Forefoot Cush Pod Configuration is engineered to set the foot in an efficient, balanced position from heel strike to toe-off, offering maximum stability and responsiveness.
