I have to wear a heel lift in the right heel. Also have massive foot scar. The ability to have the slight stretch in this shoe has provided the comfort like none other I have tried.

These shoes do run somewhat short so you may want to consider ordering a half size larger than you normally do. These shoes will probably not eliminate the burning sensation you experience when running on hot pavement, but they do have a mostly mesh upper that will provide excellent ventilation and help keep your feet cooler.Answered on 9/25/2012 by Ryan from Holabird Sports
