Apply to forearm using velcro straps before you start playing. If you have suffered from tennis elbow in the past never play without the splint. Wash it in warm water after use. Run ordinary soap over it and then rinse using cold water. Hang it up using two pegs applied to the metal connecting strip. Do not apply pegs to the foam section as it will lead to the foam crumbling in time. Have at least 2 splints and rotate them. No other Tennis elbow splint is as effective as the Spiro. If your tennis elbow is very painful and not settling, I recommend that you see a Sports Physician. I have suffered from this condition on and off for over 20 years. I found steroid injections and non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs offered only temporary relief but the new treatment of injecting with blood or platelet concentrate under ultrasound control produced dramatic and lasting relief.
